As usual, at the beginning of the winter season, the American Institute Pantone® chooses a color that sets the direction in the world of design for the next 12 months. This December, the world leader in color trends named PANTONE 18-1750 Viva Magenta as the Color of the Year for 2023.
Viva Magenta is a hybrid color, seeking the balance between warm and cold, the human and the digital world. Pantone’s Color of the Year reflects lifestyle trends and what’s happening in the zeitgeist on a macro level.
